1. If I create a design with the trial, can I continue to use the design I created after the trial has ended? Using the free trial version for a product like Flash4D allows you to create an intro. After that you can continue to use it for as long as you would like, even if you don't continue to use the product. For the Flash4D trial, no account or billing information is ever asked for. You simply receive the product to try it out. If you like it, feel free to purchase it to discover what else you can do that the trial is limited by. Additional project music licenses can be purchased at www.Q-Music.co.uk 2. What is the difference between the full software and the trial of the software? The trial for most of the IntroWizard products represents a "taste" of the full software or is almost a full software so you would know what it would be like to have the software and see if you like it (which you do now, right? :) ). The main differences between the trial and the full is that the trial may have watermarks on what it creates or not really save (such as what the CreationWeb trial does) and only lasts for a certain number of days, after which the trial will not run any longer and instead ask for the software to be purchased. (You can do this at: http://www.introwizard.com/store/ 3. Can I create my own Flash animations with Flash4D? With the current version of Flash4D that is available for sale, Flash4D Version 4, templates are included which can be edited in Flash4D so you can create customized designs from the templates. 4. What features are unavailable in the Flash4D trial? The greyed features are the features that are unavailable. These features are mostly in the Customization process like when customizing a design. The Bonus Zone intros are (as of July 10th, 2005 -- this may be different in the future) available only to customers for editing, but they can be viewed in the trial. 5. Does the trial of Flash4D affect the full program if I purchase the full program? If you purchased the full Flash4D program, it will not cause problems with the trial. If you use the desktop icons to access Flash4D, make sure you click the right desktop icon for the full Flash4D Program and not the trial. 6. Web design business: Can I use Flash4D designs for my customers? Yes, of course. Our products have been designed for people like you, to help make it easier to create Flash intros for your customers, and at the same time earn a profit. When you get to the Flash Intro Packs screen, after starting up Flash4D, You should have a choice of the Popular Intros Pack, Technology Business pack, or the Bonus Zone pack. Click the Technology one with the moving 101010's and it'll open a window showing the first three intros in this pack. To get to the other intros in this pack, click the Next>> button at the bottom of the Technology Pack window, this will bring you to see 3 new intros. If you continue clicking the 'Next>>' button, you'll see the rest of the intros in that pack. Now to see the intros in the other packs, Popular Intros and Bonus Zone, click the 'Intros Menu' button at the top of the Flash4D application (top center). From here you're back at the front screen, you can now select any other of the intro packs which each have their own sets of intros designs. 8. Does your full purchased software come with more designs than the trial? In the case of the Flash4D and FlaPops trials, they give the most real representation of the full software with all the designs the full one includes so that by testing the trial, you know if you like the program. Although for Flash4D, the Flash4D trial's expanded design program does not have the bonus zone pack designs that the full software. By purchasing Flash4D, you can receive the designs not included in the trial. The advertisement seen in intros created with the trial edition of Flash4D can be removed by either purchasing and building the intro with the full version of Flash4D or purchasing the individual intro's "de-adverting" in which the intro file without the ad will be emailed to you. I purchased Flash4D but it still creates watermarks with designs, how do I create designs without watermarks? To create Flash designs without the watermarks, please download the full version of Flash4D from the download link sent to you after purchasing Flash4D. The full version does not create watermarks with the designs. Using the trial however will produce watermarks with your designs. Possibly both on your computer: If you have already downloaded the full version of Flash4D, make sure you are opening the full version rather than the trial if they are both on your computer. How to tell if you're using the full version: You can tell if you're using the trial if it has a purchase button in the corner of the program. The full version doesn't contain this purchase button. 15. Are there more templates in the registered version than the trial includes? The desktop icon opens the trial of Flash4D instead of the full program that I purchased and installed. How can I access the full program? It appears the shortcuts on your desktop may be leading to the trial of Flash4D if you installed that before Flash4D. Try going to your Start >> Program Files >> and the program folder and then clicking the program icon to access the program. 17. Does the trial version have to be completely removed before installing the full version of Flash4D? It is not necessary to completely remove the trial version if you do not want to, although the trial version is no longer needed once you have downloaded the full version of Flash4D. However, the shortcut links on your desktop created when the trial was installed could possibly confuse you when you are attempting to run the full program if they were not overwritten during the full version installation process, so it could very well be a convenience, but not at all necessary, to uninstall the trial version before installing the full version. 18. Do the things I make with the purchased version of Flash4D have the 'buy flash4d' trial version watermark in the corner? You don't have to worry as the purchased version of Flash4D does not create the 'Buy Flash4D' logo in the Flash intros and presentations made with it, the buy watermark only appears in things made with the trial version. 19. Yahoo Geocities: Do Flash4D intros work well with Yahoo Geocities websites? Yes, Flash4D intros work excellent with Yahoo Geocites. Check the Yahoo Pagebuilder help documentation for how to add Flash. 20. Is it possible to re-evaluate Flash4D after the trial period has finished? The full version of Flash4D can be used for over 15 days but the trial is limited to the 15 day evaluation period. Can I use intros that I create with the evaluation version of Flash4D on my website? The intros you make in the evaluation version of Flash4D can be used on your website. There is only one limit. The only limit is with the music which was licensed from Q-Music.co.uk which limits free use of the stock music included with Flash4D to one for yourself and one for a client. You can buy additional music licences at Q-Music.co.uk. 22. How do you replace the trial intros with the full intros after purchase? To remove the banners in the intros you have created from the trial, you will have to create them again though using the full version of the
software, and then replace the trial versions with the full version of the intros. To do this without having to type your information in again, you can simply create the intro again with any text (it doesn't matter), then copy the Flash file (.swf) that was created and replace it over the trial intro .SWF file. For Flash4D v4 intros, please use the open saved intro data file button to recover your saved trial information to create your new full intro. 23. Do I have to buy the software after using the free trial? You do not have to buy the program after a free trial use, although it is appreciated if you do. :) The free trial is free for you to use to test out the software, and if you want you can delete it if you don't like it. The sound doesn't play online with my intro when I put it on my website. How can I fix this? A guess is that this is occuring because the server is not letting the Flash file "contact" or get the music file. It may also be the music swf file wasn't put in the same location as the intro swf file on the server. One thing to check for is to see if the intro plays or if it just stays stuck loading. If it stays stuck at the loading point where it flashes the word loading at the top of the Flash means it can't access the music file. If you can't get it to work at all, please Contact IntroWizard with a link to view your Flash intro online. 26. What software products do you offer that create Flash?
