I Have a Question About CD Presentation Questions: (change)
Select the item below that you have a question about.

1. How can I use a Flash intro with a CD and get it to play a webpage on the same CD afterwards?

---------------
Click here to download the CD Auto-Run files
---------------
To solve this problem of using a Flash design on a CD and have it linked up to another webpage on the same CD, such as if you put a website with the intro on a CD, you can do so by including the attached files with the CD. The two files autorun.INF and autorun.bat should be added to the CD along with the intro files in the base of the CD. In other words, copy the files from the folder Flash_Design_Folder (or a folder like that which is created after creating a design with Flash4D) to the base directory of the CD

When creating or editing your design again in Flash4D, if you haven't done so already, built it as a CD Presentation. Then when you put the presentation files on a CD, the intro should play from the Presentation application that the CD so that you can access the index.html file like d:\\index.html.

This is so the autorun file that will be started when the CD is put into a computer supporting autorun files, the autorun.bat file will be started which will then start the index.html file which will play your intro. You can use the fullscreen option in the Extra Features area of Flash4D to have this webpage maximize in Internet Explorer.

This way will allow you to have the Enter button linked to another file on the same CD. Remember to have all the files in the base of the CD though, that is an important thing to note.

Test the autorun.bat file out by copying it and the autorun.inf file to the same folder which contains your intro files (index.html and the .swf files) and then double-click the autorun.bat file to run it and it should open the index.html file which plays your intro.

Make sure to create the design as an Intro when using this method, as the index.html file will be needed and that's created when a design is created as a Flash intro.

2. CD Presentations? Can I incorporate Flash 4D intros into my presentations on CDs? Do they use the .swf extension?

Flash4D Intros are designed to be run online, but can also be run on CD presentations using a projector file we provide on demand. The intros use the .swf extension, but depending on your selected files, may come along with a music swf. All of these can be run on a presentation on a CD. If you would like, you can test out Flash4D using the below trial download link: http://www.introwizard.com/trial/flash4dpro-trial.exe

3. Can I create a Flash intro as a stand alone application such as a presentation to include it with a product I offer?

With Flash4D, the intro builder software offered, you can create a Flash intro and save it also as a presentation so you can put it on a cd, or include it with a program you offer.

To do this, you can download a trial of Flash4D v4.4 from ( www.introwizard.com/downloads/flash4d.php ) and when using Flash4D v4.4, select to create a Flash Presentation. This option is given right when you start-up Flash4D.

Here's an idea:
With Flash4D you can also create a Flash intro as a screensaver to distribute in your advertising of any product you may offer.

By the way, if you're interested in purchasing Flash4D you may do so online for as little as $49 for Home Edition. You can even save a bit by starting your purchase from the trial.

4. How can I add a Flash animation to Powerpoint to put it on a CD-Rom?

I'd like to let you know that to solve the question here you can use the trial of Flash4D v4 http://www.introwizard.com/downloads/flash4d.php >

When creating an intro, select the music area in the Customize window and make sure to select, 'No Music' if you would like to use the Flash in PowerPoint. Then, simply add the intro file ( the .swf intro file) to your PowerPoint after creating the design.

Selecting to have no music with the Flash intro is needed because PowerPoint only supports the addition of single Flash files. When you have music with the intro the Flash intro calls out for a music Flash file, although this may not be supported in PowerPoint.

As for inserting a Flash design into a PowerPoint presentation, please see this link: < www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14235 >/

You can also create a Flash animation that can play on a CD-Rom. What Flash4D does is it also provides an EXE file to play the Flash intro on the CD-Rom. You can easily turn your Flash Animation into a CD-Rom by selecting to create the Flash intro for a CD after creating your intro (it's one of the options available after the intro has been created).

By the way, if you're interested in purchasing Flash4D you may do so online for as little as $49 for Home Edition. You can even save a bit by starting your purchase from the trial.
