1. Do any intro support my own images?
Yes, most design templates do support using your own images with Flash4D.
If you're using images created by someone other than you or that has a person's face in the image, remember to ask permission to use the image. Best be on the good side of the image copyright holder.

5. How do your software items interface and work with Macromedia Flash MX? Do I have to have the full Macromedia Flash software on my computer to use your software items like Flash4D?
IntroWizard software items work independently from Macromedia Flash creating software, and do not require the Macromedia Flash creating software to work.
So no, there is no need to have Macromedia Flash creating software on your computer, although having the environment is a benefit when working with Flash4D Professional Edition which contains the .FLA editing files to the intro styles.

Here is the Common Problems & Quick Answers resource.

Flash Intro Website Trouble / Problems Help
************************
If you already have a website, and a method of putting files on your website, go to your Desktop and look for a folder that should be called something like \'flashintrofolder\'. This folder will contain your intro files (animation, music, webpage, and text files should be in there.) Flash4D creates all the files and html for you, so all you need to do is put the files in the \'flashintrofolder\' onto your website and view your intro playing automatically. Flash4D creates the html webpage *index.html* which you should put onto your website and use it as your first file if you wanted. This is the webpage that plays your intro. If you linked your Skip Intro button (aka your Enter Go To URL) to your website\'s first page:
http://www.yourwebsite.com/first_text_page.html
Then simply put all the intro files onto your website and access your intro webpage (the index.html one) at:
http://www.yourwebsite.com/index.html
You can also simply put the whole flashintrofolder onto your website, and see your intro at:
http://www.yourwebsite.com/flashintrofolder/index.html
If your website doesn\'t have a method of putting the files onto your website, or you use a different method such as uploading, ftp, or a form on a webpage to send your files to your website, simply use the same method you use for your website and putting your files onto your website for the intro files that are all in the folder on your desktop.
If you have any troubles with the intro on your website, please run through the following problem solvers:
*****************
Flash Intro Trouble Problem Solvers:
Please review these if you have any troubles with getting your intro onto your website.
*****************
1.) Did you put all the intro files onto your website in the *same* folder on your website? Try accessing every file to make sure it is where it should be. All intro files should be in the same folder.
2.) Does your Host support Flash or text files? If you access the (.swf) files on your website (e.g. http://www.yourwebsite.com/flashintrofile.swf )and you can view them, then your host does support Flash.
3.) If your intro comes up blank on the intro webpage, then it is possible that your intro file is not in the same folder as the intro webpage. Review the process above if this is so
4.) If your intro doesn\'t fully load, the text file or the music file may not be in the same folder, or accessible by the intro (.swf) file or even the webpage. Make sure all your files are in the same folder.
5.) Follow and read Problem Solver #1 again, it is the most important solution and can possibly solve the majority of all Flash intro related issues.
6.) Enjoy your new Flash Intro! Happy Flashing! :)
7. Can I add extra lines or remove text lines from the intro?
Extra lines can't be added to the intro, but if you would like to not have a text line simply don't put any text in the lines you don't want and no text will show in that part of the intro. For just an idea, this can help if you're looking to space text out over the design.
8. I created an intro with the trial of Flash4D but I don't want the Flash4D advert in the corner, so what do I do?
The advertisement seen in intros created with the trial edition of Flash4D can be removed by either purchasing and building the intro with the full version of Flash4D or purchasing the individual intro's "de-adverting" in which the intro file without the ad will be emailed to you. If you would like to purchase Flash4D, please visit
this webpage to select a payment gateway, or if you would like an individual intro, that can be purchased starting from
this link. Please
contact IntroWizard with the name of the individual intro you would like after your purchase.
9. Do you offer any other products that design Flash?
As for any other products featured by IntroWizard. There is another software called FlaPops, in addition to Flash4D (
http://www.introwizard.com/flash4d/), which specializes in creating shorter movies as compared to Flash4D. You can view more information about FlaPops from this link:
http://www.introwizard.com/flapops/
A free trial is also available if you would like to test the software first.
10. What version(s) of the flash player does Flash4D support?
Flash4D creates your designs in the Flash format, which is readable by the latest player, Flash 7.0 (also known as MX 2004).

11. Can Flash intros play on any computer?
Flash Intros created with Flash4D should play on any computer which has the Flash player, whether it be yours or a website host computer, as long as you have all the Flash intro files on the computer you are playing it on and the computer has the Flash player.

12. What software program would you recommend to create Flash that I can add to my existing website?
I would suggest Flash4D to create Flash intros or movies for your website. Flash4D creates the Flash and also for intros creates an index.html webpage, so all you have to do to add the Flash intro to your website is rename your current index.html to main.html and then add your intro files to your website.
You can also create Flash movies with Flash4D which you can add to any of your current webpages, such as to show a tour on your website or display animated Flash messages in certain areas of your website.
Flash4D helps you create Flash quickly by selecting a design and then editing it. The software also includes an extra set of designs which can be customized with even small details like text and image size or angles.
13. What do I do after I create my intro?
After you create your intro, and you would like to put it on your website, CD presentation, or even your emails, you will have to get the intro or presentation files there. This is something that is easy to do, first, please reference to our Guides & Tutorial section here for a guide on what to do next:
http://support.introwizard.com/?a=tutorials
14. How do I upload the intro to my website or send as an email attachment?
To get your intro onto your website it would be suggested you upload all the files to the same folder or location on your website. If you already have a method of putting files onto your website, go ahead and use that method for putting your intro files onto your website. This method could be an upload form, a ftp program, or some other method. To send it as an email attachment, you can zip up all the files in the folder created on your desktop and email the zipped folder.
15. What am I allowed to do with an intro after I created it with Flash4D?
Thanks for contacting me with your question. The purchased version of the
intro maker is available for commercial
use in that intros can be made with it and sold, given away, or used for
personal use. There are no restrictions applied to personal use or
commercial use of the designs as long as they don't include any music
provided in Flash4D or any copyrighted images.
The reason being is that Q-Music.co.uk, the provider of the
included Flash4D v4 Music, has provided free usage of the music to one
project for your company and one client project.
Addressing using the designs for yourself, I'd suggest keeping it to one
project with the music. Additional licenses for using the music beyond this
limit can be purchased for each individual
client or for yourself for as little as $19 at
www.Q-Music.co.uk.
16. Can I use a Flash4D intro to promote my services on my website before I release my services or products?
Yes indeed, you can use a Flash4D intro to promote your services. You can use Flash4D intros for other uses on your website also. With some time and creativity, you can create Flash movies within your webpages too. If you haven't already downloaded a trial of Flash4D, feel free to do so from this link:
http://www.introwizard.com/trial/flash4d-trial.exe
17. Where can I get my free upgrade to Flash4D v4 (Version 4)?
18. With your software am I able to add my own buttons?
19. I can't preview or see my design that I created with Flash4D. Where can I see the design I created?
If you wish you can try this to create a Flash intro:
When you first load up Flash4D it will ask what you would like to create.
Select the Flash intro at the top and then try creating a design. When you
click the blue Preview button you should have a webpage pop-up afterwards
showing a preview of the design.
After creating your design, you can go to your desktop and open the folder
starting with the word flash (e.g. flash-intro or flash-cd-presentation) and
then open the index.html if you created a Flash intro, or presentation.exe
if you instead created a cd presentation.
20. I can't get my intro to go beyond the loading page or go to my webpage after it plays. How can I fix this?
If you are able to play your intro, try directing it to go to the full url such as this example full url: http://www.YourWebsite.com/page2.html
This is for the Page to Show After the Design fill-in blank in the Customization window of Flash4D.
If the intro sticks at the loading screen and doesn't play, make sure all the files (the intro.swf, the music file (.swf too) are both together in the same folder). This is because the intro.swf relies upon the music file and won't play until it's loaded too.
21. What is a Flash introduction?
22. The sound doesn't play online with my intro when I put it on my website. How can I fix this?
A guess is that this is occuring because the server is not letting the Flash file "contact" or get the music file. It may also be the music swf file wasn't put in the same location as the intro swf file on the server.
One thing to check for is to see if the intro plays or if it just stays stuck loading. If it stays stuck at the loading point where it flashes the word loading at the top of the Flash means it can't access the music file.
If you can't get it to work at all, please
Contact IntroWizard with a link to view your Flash intro online.
23. Is there a limit to the number of messages I can show in the templates?
The templates have a
limited amount of messages that can be shown. For the Flash4D and FlaPops
products, this depends on which template is selected (most templates have 5 messages along with a loading message and an additional welcome message). For the Flash Website
Builder, up to 13 sections in your website can be added.
24. What can the Flash4D software do? I'd like to create Flash introductions and animated Flash movies for my website.
25. Can I view the flash intro designs included with the software?
26. When I click enter the Flash repeats itself instead of going to my website's next page.
The Flash also repeats itself when you click the enter button because the link that is set for the enter button to go to is the same page the Flash is on, so what it does is it will go to the same page and repeat the Flash. What you should do is set the Enter Button link to be: http://www.YourWebsite.com/TheNextOrMainPage.html so that it goes to that when the Enter button is clicked. This is called the page to go to after the enter button is clicked in the Flash4D program.
27. Does Flash4D create a skip intro link so that people can skip watching a website Flash intro?
Flash4D does create a Skip Introduction link so that people can skip the design if they would like.
28. When I click build the intro is not created it is just shown to me. Where can I find the saved intro?
When using Flash4D, when you click the build intro button the intro will be saved to your desktop in a folder called something similar to "flash_design_folder" or "flash-intro-folder." This should be located on your desktop and has the intro.swf file in there and the index.html webpage you can open to view your intro.
Flash4D just automatically opens this index.html webpage so that you can see your intro after it has been built and saved onto your desktop in the new folder it was created in.
